Request a foundation assessment

Five fields is enough to route this properly. Everything else is optional, and nothing you skip will hold up the request.

Who receives this

Calgary Foundation Pros is an independent information and referral service. We do not carry out foundation work ourselves. There is currently no confirmed contractor partner. Requests reach our enquiry team; a contractor referral, quote or site visit is not guaranteed.

We do not sell your details to a list. How this site works and our privacy policy set out exactly what happens to it.

We currently have no confirmed contractor partner. This form sends an enquiry to our team; it does not book an assessment or guarantee a contractor quote. For urgent repairs, contact a Calgary foundation contractor directly.

What is happening

What are you dealing with?

How urgent is it?

Describe what you are seeing(optional)

Where it is, how long it has been there, and whether it has changed. A couple of sentences is plenty.

How to reach you

Your name

Phone

Postal code

So the request goes to a contractor who covers your area. We do not need your street address.

Add more detail (optional)— helps the contractor prepare, but nothing here is required

Email(optional)

Neighbourhood(optional)

Property type(optional)

Is the basement finished?(optional)

Roughly how old is the house?(optional)

A decade is fine, for example 1970s.

Preferred contact method(optional)

For optional private photographs, use the free foundation review form. Photos document symptoms and cannot replace an on-site professional assessment.

I understand Calgary Foundation Pros is a referral service and not a contractor, and I agree that this request reaches the enquiry team. If a suitable partner later accepts it, I consent to a referral. No contractor quote, assessment or callback is guaranteed.

Your request reaches our enquiry team. There is no confirmed contractor partner. See our privacy policy.

Water coming in right now?

1. Keep clear of standing water near outlets, cords and panels. If water is near electrical equipment or the furnace, treat the area as unsafe until power to it is off.
2. Move what you can, and lift what you cannot onto blocks.
3. Go outside and look for the feed: a disconnected downspout, pooled meltwater against the wall, a blocked window well. Redirecting it often slows the leak within minutes.
4. Photograph everything before you clean up.

What makes a request useful

Where on the wall or floor the problem is, in plain words
How long it has been there, and whether it has changed
Whether it tracks the weather, particularly spring melt
Whether anything else in the house has changed: doors, floors, windows
Dated photographs, with a coin or ruler in frame for scale

Not sure it needs anyone yet?

Plenty of foundation cracks need nothing. Four checks you can run in ten minutes will tell you which kind you have.
